About The Exam
The CEMC (The Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing) develops and administers many internationally recognized contests to help to inspire the next generation of students to develop an interest in and love for mathematics and computer science.
The questions in the contests are based on curriculum common to all Canadian provinces. Rather than testing content, most of the contest problems test logical thinking and mathematical problem solving.

Exam Format
4 questions/75 minutes/40 total marks
marks for full solution questions assigned for form and style of presentation
most calculators permitted
考试形式： 总共4道大题，满分40分，考试时间是75分钟。解答题分数的评定取决于你的表述的形式和风格，对解答的表述要求较高。另外，考试中允许使用计算器。
Who May Write?
Galois Math Contest: Students in Grade 10 or below are eligible to write the Galois Contest.
Hypatia Math Contest: Students in Grade 11 or below are eligible to write the Hypatia Contest.
参与者: 高一学生可以参加伽罗瓦竞赛，高二学生可以参加希帕蒂娅竞赛。
Certificates
Certificates are given to the top twenty five percent of students whose exam performance is best.
证书: 考试成绩达到前25%的学生将获得证书。
Exam and Registration Dates
The contests are scheduled for Thursday, April 13, 2017 and the deadline for registration is March 24, 2017.
